Year 9 have been looking at the artist Alma Haser in their recent photography lessons. Following on from creating an artist research page, I have asked them to create edits in the style of the photographer.
This involves using the photopea website, to create different geometric portraits. To support in this lesson I have modelled different examples the students could use for inspiration. I have also created different tutorial videos demonstrating how the students can achieve each image.
Following creating these examples, I used some of them to create the success criteria on the PowerPoint. This enables me to differentiate the task using levelled examples of work. Through creating these examples it provides the students with clear visual examples of what the students could create.
Below are screenshots of the PowerPoint, including one of the videos & the success criteria for this lesson.
