For lesson three in the year 9 scheme of work, they chose a theme for their project out of Sea creatures, Monsters & Insects. Following that, they then had to create a pencil sketch of something from their theme and above are some pieces of work from that lesson.
During the lesson, I celebrated excellent pieces of work by speaking to the students and then showing their work to the rest of the class. This then set high expectations for the lessons and promoted good progress within the class as they could clearly see examples of work to aspire to.
