Year 7 have been focusing on the work of Michael Craig Martin recently during their art lessons & in response to his work have created monoprints using some of the artist's work.
The students really enjoyed this lesson and a number of them created outstanding prints. In this lesson, I demonstrated the monoprint technique, using a visualizer & supported students 1:1 in how to create the monoprint effectively. I also differentiated the resources so that low ability students could have a more simple image to create and more able students would be able to create a more complex monoprint.
