Below are some examples of lesson PowerPoints that I have created. Each lesson includes a Low Stakes Quiz, Lesson objects & slides that differentiate each task by level.
Lesson 2 focuses on a visual study/analysis of work by John Kenn Mortensen. This artist draws monsters & creatures on post it notes using fine liner. During this lesson the students are required to use this technique to visually analyze the work.
Lesson 3 refers back to the students ability to create tonal drawings. In this lesson, they create pencil sketches of a creature from their chosen theme (insects/sea creatures/monsters). For this lesson, I have differentiated the task by level with visual examples to clearly demonstrate to students what each level looks like.
Lesson 5 looks at developing their stencil designs further. The students will have cut out stencils in the previous lesson & experimented with applying paint to their designs. During this lesson, the students explore blending two or more colours together when applying paint with a sponge.
For these lessons, I created examples which are in the photographs below. This slide clearly shows with photographic examples how students can achieve each level. I will also model this technique during the lessons.
