The online platform we are using for distance learning allows teachers to see who has and has not viewed tasks set. In order to monitor work effectively I have sent messages to student's who have not seen the tasks in order to encourage them to engage with the coursework set. I have also communicated with their tutors & asked them to give students a gentle reminder about coursework allowing me to monitor work & progress online.
