In a lesson with my Year 7 Art group, they were creating a page of bird studies. This required the students to create an A4 page focusing on drawing different sections of a bird.
I modelled this by drawing my own example and showing them throughout the lesson to engage the students by drawing along side them. This enabled me to set high expectations in my lesson by showing them my own drawings & what they could achieve in the lesson time.
