Year 10 - Shutter speed lesson
This year, I co-teach year 10 photography. I see this class once a fortnight & for this lesson I planned to cover the topic of 'shutter speed' with the students. This is a key technique within photography & is one of the basics when understanding camera settings. Within this, I discussed fast & slow shutter speed with the students & asked them to identify the differences between two images. The students were then given the task to complete an analysis on shutter speed, focusing on 1 image demonstrating a fast shutter speed and 1 image depicting a slow shutter speed. I supported the students in this analysis by providing them with 1:1 support & sentence starters for lower ability.
