To help with year 7 distance learning, I've started to put together videos as part of their lessons. The skills & work they will be completing is beginning to become more technical and it is easier to explain through a video demonstration.
I started by recording individual clips on my phone, by setting up the tripod above my work area. This enabled me to point the camera at the piece I was working on, whilst still explaining what I was doing to the students. I then edited these clips together in iMovie and included a short introduction clip of myself so that the student's knew who was talking in the video.
