Year 10 - Still Life Project

To prepare for the upcoming projects for year 10, I have begun to put together analysis guides & mood board examples for their next project. They will be looking at still life, as part of their current Natural Forms project & I have recommended Andy Small & Edward Weston as two artists for them to look at in particular. 
I have provided examples of mood boards & an example of a thorough analysis to guide them through the work. To cater to all abilities, I have again put levels on the PowerPoint slides so that the student's can gauge where they should be working. This enables them to choose what level they want to be aiming for & complete the work appropriately to suit them.
To support the students further, I have incuded sentence starters & prompts as to what they should be writing about when analysing artist's work. As the levels get higher, the analysis becomes more in depth - therefore targeting the higher levels to the higher ability pupils. Differentiating more explictly for Higher Ability Pupils (HAP) is one of my NQT targets this year & throughout these projects I have been working to cater more specifically to those students as well as cater for lower & middle ability.
